The Dreadnought Koa 12 String has a Koa top, back & sides As Koa wood has a bass response that is slightly less than that of rosewood and treble response that is slightly less than that of mahogany it produces a somewhat more a"midrangey" tone that works well for playing rhythm. This makes the Koa KT an equally well balanced instrument.
