The Grand Concert SPALT CE has a Solid Spruce Top, Spalted Maple back & Sides. Spalting is a process, which occurs as the decaying logs are attacked by fungi, which results in the decay showing up as dark veins within the healthy maple wood, resulting in the guitar having a visually stunning appearance. It also features a Fishman Classic 4T pick up system, with built in tuner.
