As Koa wood has a bass response that is slightly less than that of rosewood and treble response that is slightly less than that of mahogany it produces a somewhat more a"midrangey" tone that works well for playing rhythm. This makes the Koa KT an equally well balanced instrument. It also features a Fishman Classic 4T pick up system, with built in tuner.
